I recently read in the newspaper that the Canadian government is going to proceed with the purchase of helicopters. Instead of giving the much needed business to a Canadian firm, they are entertaining thoughts of improving the American way of life by using an American company instead. How very typical of our government. PM Chretien previously cost us taxpayers $500 million by cancelling a contract to replace our ageing fleet in 1993.

To improve our way of life?? - buy Canadians to employ Canadians.
