BUFFALO THEORY
I know all of you have read or heard this wisdom before, but I have
not seen anyone explain it as well as the all-mighty wise Cliff
Clavin, on the sitcom Cheers, explaining the Buffalo Theory to his buddy, Norm. And here’s how it goes....
"Well ya see Norm, it’s like this...A herd of buffalo can only move
as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is
the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This
natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.
"In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as
the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, as we all
know, kills brain cells, but naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest
brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That’s why you always feel smarter after a few beers."

Do you remember the article on WATER CRISIS Water Crises
NOW BE FACED WITH:
"Are you in favor of water diversion or sales to USA?"
The National Post reports of a new Committee chaired by Dennis Mills MP mills.d@parl.gc.ca to
study and reccommend how we can send water to the USA.
It has very grave implications on you and
your children's future. Water diversion has had disasterous effects in Russia, China, India, and Eygpt
to name a few. Send e-mail to Mr Mills and cc your MP/Senator with your opinion/concerns.
Once water goes South it can never be turned off and the USA can DEMAND more under NAFTA
even if we are short for our own household, industry, irrigation and future development needs.

Book of the Week
Only A Fool's Game
A Romance Novel by: IRENE FEVENS
A contemporary romance, ONLY A FOOL’S GAME is the touching tale of Terry Hart, a Physical Education teacher living in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Mitchell Holding, an officer in the Canadian Armed Forces.
Terry has firmly closed the book on love, and is content to spend her days surrounded by family and friends. She isn’t looking for romance, and she certainly isn’t interested in the naval officer, Mitchell Holding, who literally runs into her and knocks her down in Point Pleasant Park.
In the months that follow, their lives are changed forever as they discover just what it takes to survive in the fool’s game of love.
ONLY A FOOL’S GAME will touch the hearts of romance readers of all ages. Irene Fevens likes to add an unexpected twist to her stories, and ONLY A FOOL’S GAME is no exception.
