It was just a matter of time until it would happen to the rest of us. We had some good solutions but our phone companies are not listening. We need your help to make a difference.

• Imagine calling someone local with ten digits instead of seven?
• Imagine being forced to get new business cards and letter head, stationery .... sounds expensive. For BC they have now introduced an additional area code 778.

Don't let this happen, call your phone company and complain. There are better solutions. WHY NOT ASSIGN THE NEW AREA CODE TO ALL CELL PHONES AND PAGERS ONLY?
Contact the CRTC (http://www.crtc.gc.ca/) Send your comments to CRTC complaint form, which has jurisdiction over the phone companies. Your province may be next.
