Jim Harding, native of British Columbia waters, born in Pender Harbour,B.C. on January 16th, 1954.   Jim lived on Nelson Island until 1963 when his family moved to Gibson. B.C. At the age of 15 he went into commercial fishing and tow-boating,etc for 27 years. Twelve years ago he broke his ankle and was unable to go fishing that season. Jim finally made the decision to persue his favorite past times craft, carving and painting. Working with wood, designing furniture, his artform has become highly sought after.
I have various works on display and for sale at the Beautiful Ruby Lake Resort in the restaurant which offers Authentic italian cuisine and fresh seafood,
located on highway 101, 10 mins from Earls Cove.
My work is also displayed at key locations on the Sunshine Coast such as:
