Christmas has come and gone (maybe, but not the Turkey soup and the credit card bills.) I never doubted that there is a spirit of Christmas, energized through a bloke called Sandy Claws. You would, up until recently, have had great difficulties convincing me that Witches and Wicca, (religious practice involving nature-worship and witchcraft) are present in our society today and were not all burnt at the stake in Salem town.

Just a few days prior to Christmas, a REAL, modern day Witch entered my life. I was expecting Sandy Claws and his six white Gophers to stop for a pre Christmas visit; to see if I had any good Irish whisky to keep his Ho Ho Ho'ing going. Instead, the plutudious Ohio Witch just sailed in through an open window on my PC. She must be OK or else my' Norton Virus Hunter' would have gunned her down.

The Lady Witch was surfing the net to find high quality Christmas balls as a gift for her youngest Witchlet's home in the USA. When she punched Google with Christmas Balls, up came the Geezer's story "the Origin of Christmas Balls" click here. The dear Witch had zoomed all over the USA but could find nobody with the right kind of balls down there. She had heard it said "most Canadians have balls." Having read the Geezer's knowledgeable story on the origin of Christmas Balls, the Witch concluded that he probably would have balls to spare. She was right. The Geezer fulfilled her request and off she flew with her new balls. I later was to learn that a Witch with balls is a Warlock. Now I was confused. I asked my Editor, Lady C

Q. Why is a vasectomy like a Christmas tree...?
(Lady C who knows everything replied.)
"Cause the balls are just for decoration!"

I'm interested in learning more about Witches with balls (Warlocks?) so I posed this question to my campanaros, who know a lot more than I.

What do Child Witches fly? ... G4's ans. Wisk Brooms
  • Lady Sask Flatlander's reply ... Dust mops.
  • Locust Lander ... Squeegee.
  • Newfie June ... Push broom.
  • Micheline's Put-In ... Table brush.
  • Sister Peg…Tooth brush
  • John B Sales ... Shaving brush
  • Ray in the Dark ... a Dust Buster.( Ray is a electronic wizard)
  • Fella ... Feather Duster
  • Boston Brant ... Toilet brush
  • Doc Steve ... Paint brush
  • Petie Brown ... Bore brush.
  • Sean ... Nail brush.
  • The Big B ... Sage brush
  • Lady Blanche Flatlander Poulin (Mom of LSF) ... Mother Goose!
So I could not get a "concusses", I decided to upgrade my new Witch friend's Broom so she could take her Witchlet daughter along next Halloween to see who has Candy Balls.
