Your picture is still by my bed

Your picture is still by my bed
I look at it every night
I'm doing everything wrong,
and everything's not right.
These emotions are deceiving
I'd better not start believing
I guess things worked out for the best
maybe it was time for the relationship to rest.
I thought about it time to time
that there's no point if I cant call you mine.
I'm not to sure what will come of my life,
maybe I'm the one causing myself to much strife.
Always making my self seem strong,
But I'm just hiding from the pain.
I want to tell you
Just how I felt,
But maybe its not in the cards that were dealt.
We both knew it was time to end
and maybe be best if we were friends.
Sometimes I wonder,
what life would be like, I never met you,
I cant think a reason to stay,
So I guess I'm up and walking away.
this life of mine is to messed up,
Maybe I should stop dating the cowards
and date someone right.
I still have your picture above me at night.
